The long road PRE-PITCHED FAQs
When can I check in?
Guests can check in at the Hotel Bell Tent reception located in the Peak Point General Campsite from 11am on Friday when gates open. Check out is at 12pm on Monday, and the car park closes at 1pm. Please bring photo ID and a copy of your booking confirmation for check in.
What are the reception opening hours?
Normal reception opening hours are 8am-12midday and 4pm-8pm. When reception is closed, there will be a 24-hour point of contact for use in emergencies
I'm travelling by car. What are the parking arrangements?
Please go to the General Car Park which is approximately 300m from the campsite.
Can I bring more people to stay in my tent?
Only the advertised number of people for your tent size can stay in the accommodation.
Will our event tickets be included in the price of the accommodation?
No, festival tickets are not included in your Accommodation booking. You must also purchase a General Camping ticket for each member of your group from The Long Road festival ticket page
Will there be security?
Pre-Pitched Camping will be located in the Peak Point General Campsite. There will be security at the entrance to the campsite checking wristbands.
As always, Hotel Bell Tent can not be liable for lost or stolen items. We advise all guests against bringing unnecessary valuable items to the event and having handbags or purses on visual display in their tent.
Will there be food and drinks available?
There will be food and drink sold nearby and in the festival arena.
Will there be electricity in my accommodation?
Accommodation is not supplied with power.
What essential items should I bring?
We highly recommend you bring a torch, lots of layers for when the sun goes down, plenty of warm bedding (if you’re bringing your own) & cosy pajamas. Bringing an extra blanket is always a good idea just in case the night times are a little cooler.
What about toilets, showers and pamper areas?
Pre-Pitched guests will have access to the toilets and showers organised by The Long Road, situated within the Peak Point General Campsite.
Can I bring alcohol?
Please refer to the festival website for information on personal food & drink allowances.
Can I use a barbeque or camping stove?
Please refer to the festival website for information regarding the use of stoves or barbeques.
What about the environment?
At Hotel Bell Tent we respect the environment and try our hardest to look after all the beautiful spaces where we set up camp. We welcome all guests' help in keeping our area clean and tidy and assisting us in leaving no trace. Please help us by using the bins dotted around the site, and bagging up your rubbish so it can easily be recycled and disposed of.
