El Dorado Festival FAQs
When can I check in?
Guests can check in at the Hotel Bell Tent reception from 2pm on Friday 30th June. Check out is at 11am on Monday 3rd July. Please bring photo ID and a copy of your booking confirmation for check in.
What are the reception opening hours?
Normal reception opening hours are 8am-12am. When reception is closed, there will be a 24-hour point of contact for use in emergencies.
I'm travelling by car. What are the parking arrangements?
Hotel Bell Tent guests will use the general El Dorado parking facilities.
Will there be security?
Only wrist-banded guests are permitted in Hotel Bell Tent.
As always, Hotel Bell Tent can not be liable for lost or stolen items, and we advise against bringing valuable items.
Will there be food and drinks available?
There will be food and drink sold nearby and in the festival arena.
Will there be electricity in my accommodation?
Accommodation is not supplied with power. However, guests can use the phone charging tent to charge phones and cameras.
What essential items should I bring?
We highly recommend you bring a torch, lots of layers for when the sun goes down, plenty of warm bedding (if you’re bringing your own) & cozy pajamas. Bringing an extra blanket is always a good idea just in case the night times are a little cooler.
What about toilets, showers and pamper areas?
Hotel Bell Tent guests will have access to the loos and showers organised by El Dorado, and can enjoy use of the Hotel Bell Tent pamper tent featuring big Hollywood mirrors and hairdryers.
Can I bring alcohol?
Please refer to the festival website for any rules regarding the bringing of alcohol.
Can I use a barbeque or camping stove?
Small barbeques and camping stoves are permitted in Hotel Bell Tent as long as they are raised off the ground. Please refer to the festival website regarding other rules regarding the use of stoves or barbeques.
What about the environment?
At Hotel Bell Tent we respect the environment and try our hardest to look after all the beautiful spaces where we set up camp. We welcome all guests' help in keeping our area clean and tidy and assisting us in leaving no trace. Please help us by using the bins dotted around the site, and bagging up your rubbish so it can easily be recycled and disposed of.
